Local burger and ice cream hangout. Reminds me of going to Dairy Queen back in the 70's. Tables inside and outside. I love the Flonnie Burger and the french fries are awesome. Seems to be staffed by local high school students, service depends on who's at the counter. Very good example of small hometown southern burger gathering place.
Slow on orders,not the cheapest place to eat for what you get,food is institutional,ok milk shakes
Always excellent '50s style food and gracious service. Flonnie's to me is not just about food. Its also about history. So many times as a lad my mom and dad would stop and a pretty car hop would take our order. Burgers, cherry cokes, and of course a custard in a cup. They also kept us fueled after football practice and even before games. An order from Flonnies is a taste of my memories for me.
The no meat soy cheeseburger had no taste as did the Cole slaw in the soggy double cheeseburger baskets. Calling in our first time order from the vehicle on our way out of town was a big ole Google mistake! Paying over 20$ for the 2 baskets we couldn't eat and chocolate "milk" shakes that were at least cold was the 2nd. Trying to clear up this "wrong" interpretation of my order with a blank faced 15 year old who my wife says "should buy a lesson in communication" to work with the public! OVER PRICED UNEDIBLE FOOD. Mixed with TEENS WITH ATTITUDES. Is not worth the TROUBLE it took getting in or OUT of the PARKING LOT.
